GERMAN WWII MG42 BIPOD In May 1943 a BritishA good original WWII production bipod for the MG42 machine gun. Unissued condition. Waffenamt stamped on both sides of the upper attachment lug; unfortunately, the peg that fixes the bipod to the weapon is missing; this can be replaced by using a post WWII Yugoslavian copy. The bipod itself retains all of its original blueing, there are two spring loaded legs that are held together by modern tape. When the tape is removed, the residue can be removed
