The frame front is black plastic, the arms are metal. The arms have shiny enamel finish at the fronts, with a more matte finish from about the temples to the end of the ear pieces; silver metal etched scroll work, as shown. 14 "stones" on each winged, cat eye corner; there are what look like tiny copper prongs
